Ross round honey supers are gaining in popularity due to the saleability of the comb honey produced using these supers. I have been asked several times by several different customers if we could begin producing ross round honey supers for our customers and we gladly obliged. In this article, we will write an article and produce a video titled HowTo: Build 5-Frame Ross Round Honey Super.

Not sure you can build them or don't have the tools? No problem, we sell 5-frame Ross round honey supers in our store!

Ross round honey supers are a special super designed to hold a special frame. The frames allow for the production of disk-shaped comb honey in a single-serve format. You simply let the bees produce the comb and fill it with honey then pop out the drawn comb honey and package it for resale. The process is very easy, uses thin surplus wax, and is very profitable. What more could you ask for?

The ross round frames require a special honey super called a Ross Round honey super. It is shorter in the interior long dimension than a standard Langstroth honey super and therefore requires a custom-made Ross Round honey super box. We produce these and are happy to provide them to you if you are unable to make them yourself. They can be found in our beekeeping supplies store

In this article and video titled HowTo: Build a 5-Frame Ross Round Honey Super, Clifton will show you step by step how to build your own Ross Round honey super using nothing but a table saw. As always Clifton tries to produce videos to help the beekeeping community and provide instruction on making these components. However, if you would prefer to purchase them, you can do that as well on this website.
